Angie Across America - A Documentary
The past couple of months have been nothing short of exciting - ramping up my training hours on the bike, hustling for sponsorship for my bike ride, knocking on numerous doors, asking lots of questions, refining the concept for the documentary and learning how to raise funds.
The learning curve is extremely steep, as I've not undertaken a project so huge... till now. Despite my inexperience and lack of practical know-how, I have been extremely blessed to be surrounded by incredible people who invest their time, energy and resources in me - simply with the desire to see me succeed.
I've made more friends in these past few months than I did in the past one year - and this I believe, is because every time we step out of our comfort zone to undertake a big dream, good people rally around us to see our dream to fruition.
I'm reminded of a line from renowned author, Paulo Coelho's famous classic, The Alchemist:
“When you really want something to happen, the whole world conspires to help you achieve it.”
I can hardly contain my excitement and joy at unveiling what will be, a bike adventure of a lifetime barely two months from now, i.e. on June 7.
